Slotcar/Model car paint stand, Normal & Mini.

I have designed and created this stand to hold 1/32 and 1/24 scale model car body whilst spray painting. (grip suitable for bodies between 36mm and 94mm approx).

The center post is a loose fit inside the base so it can easily be removed for spraying and replaced between coats. If you require the base to be permanently attached to the pillar/stand it has a screw supplied that can be used to fix it in place.

Mini

The mini is intended to fit into more compact spaces at just 105mm high such as small spray booths. Its designed to be suitable for 1/48 to 1/32 scale (grip suitable for bodies between 30mm and 65mm approx)

The base and center pillar are a tighter fit on the mini as this is designed to be kept attached There is a screw to secure this if required

The spring pushed the legs apart against the inside of the car body, the rubber rings help to hold it securely in place. The angle of the arms can be adjusted and locked in place with the locking clamp.

Both stands are made from PLA plastic material so should not be exposed to temperatures in excess of 60Deg C. The locking nut is designed to hold the angle the jig is set at, over tightening will cause damage.
